本句的核心問題是要在music or literature前補(bǔ)上介詞in，即something is more pronounced in A than in B，如果沒有這個(gè)in，就變成主語movement和music or literature在作比較了。我們說過，為了使比較對象之間具有可比性，SAT傾向于隨時(shí)重復(fù)介詞。

第一段結(jié)構(gòu)不能太簡單！“內(nèi)容決定形式”，第一段的功能是點(diǎn)出中心思想，這樣的功能決定它不能太小兒科了，相對于中間的段落，它要莊重點(diǎn)，句式要長點(diǎn)，復(fù)雜點(diǎn)。

委婉語euphemism一詞源自希臘語的前綴eu=well和詞根pheme=speaking。

為了方便大家理解，我們在下面使用了一個(gè)結(jié)構(gòu)圖對文章的舉例段進(jìn)行說明。箭頭后面的方框，就是對前面方框內(nèi)內(nèi)容的支撐。

在這里，我們不再討論主題句的重要性，而是讓大家注意，在SAT高分作文中，有這樣一種寫法，即在一個(gè)段落中，說一個(gè)意思，然后用兩三句支撐。

在英語中，為使表達(dá)簡潔，常用代詞指代句中出現(xiàn)過的名詞。這個(gè)代詞要和指代對象在人稱和數(shù)方面保持一致。如出現(xiàn)Mary，則代詞只能是she（主格）或her（賓格）。如指代對象是students，則代詞只能是they（主格）或them（賓格）。當(dāng)然，這只是代詞指代的基本常識(shí)。

在這個(gè)問題上不要鉆牛角尖，我們寫作的目的就是為了拿高分，當(dāng)然是哪個(gè)論點(diǎn)更容易找到事實(shí)支持就寫哪個(gè)論點(diǎn)了，即使你自己也不贊同你的論點(diǎn)。
