13.4 用助動(dòng)詞進(jìn)行強(qiáng)調(diào)

強(qiáng)調(diào)句還有一種類型，就是用助動(dòng)詞do (did，does) 強(qiáng)調(diào)謂語(yǔ)。

【例】The architects laid out a systtem of public roads with stone staircases for ascending cliff faces. 建筑師用石臺(tái)階設(shè)計(jì)了公用道路系統(tǒng)，以攀登巖壁。

強(qiáng)調(diào)地點(diǎn)： It was in the lab that my father did the experiment yesterday evening.

What are you up to? 你正在做什么？ 跟上面的例子一樣，“你正在做什么��？”這句話通常我們就只會(huì)說(shuō)，\"What are you doing？\"這樣子不會(huì) 很無(wú)聊嗎？其實(shí)有時(shí)我們可以換句話說(shuō)，例如：\"What are you up to?\"同樣也是問(wèn)人家你正在做什么？承上 例，假設(shè)你在辦公室里，你想找人八卦，所以問(wèn)同事，\"In the middle of something?\"他回答，\"Kind of.\" （算是吧。）這時(shí)你就可以打破砂鍋問(wèn)到底，\"What are you up to?\"（那你近在忙什么��？）
